This Royal Copenhagen porcelain Christmas plate is titled Danish Village Church. It was designed by Theodor Kjolner and pictures a typical Danish villge church with the so-called "step-gabled" tower. 1941 was the first year Royal Copenhagen decided on a standard border which has been used on their Christmas plates since that time. The plate measures approximately 7 1/4 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches.
