Vintage Les Paul binding 1959 original luthier Royalite For Sale

Up for sale here is one piece of 'ROYALITE' binding. This is the EXACT same as the binding used on Les Paul's made from 1952 to 1960. We had this binding made specifically for us by a plastics company that specializes in custom chemical plastics.We have worked on many original Bursts and were lucky enough to take a small scraping from the body of one of these original guitars. We sent this small sample to a lab to chemically analyze the plastic, and they gave us the results. We then had this chemical reproduced to match EXACTLY the original chemical 100%This is the plastic that was known as ROYALITE in the 50's. NOT THE SAME AS TODAY'S 'ROYALITE'!This plastic is not available anywhere else in the world period! this took us over a year to research and develop.Each piece is .090" thick by 5/16" tall by 96" long.
