This is a RARE, HARD (IMPOSSIBLE?) to Find Aviation Collectors Series Ornament.The Front of the Ornament has a very Beautiful Fully Detailed Painting of a CESSNA 206 IN FLIGHT in a gorgeous cobalt blue brilliant sky with a mere suggestion of soft clouds below the aircraft. There is a feeling of movement in the front propeller engine. The Proud, Bold markings and stripe in Gold color, are clearly visible -- including the N5228U lettering. An attractive triple Golden colored stripe band frames this scene.

Above this painted Picture, by World Renowned Aviation Artist Warren Green of Reading, PA are the words

 Merry Christmas - FIRST AIRPLANE - CESSNA 206 is printed below.

The back of this collectible ornament has (within the matching triple Golden colored stripe band) has a Map Route depicting both the Scheduled and On Request Early Routes. The wording is as follows:

EARLY ROUTE MAP --- Air Midwest, Inc. was founded in May, 1965 with one single-engine CESSNA 206 (N5228U). Co-founder and President Gary M. Anderson used this airplane for air ambulance and air mortuary service. N5228U was also used in the airlines first scheduled passenger service. The airplane was donated to the Aeronautical Historical Association in 1982 for a "hands on" display.

Within the bottom of the border band are the words AIR MIDWEST 1986
