This sale is for the INSTRUCTIONS to make this tree yourself.  I've taken the dozens of hours/years spent perfecting this (SIZE, SHAPES, COLORS, HOW-TOS) and condensed it into 5-6 pages of step-by-step instructions along with a drawn pattern for reference, illustrations and pictures.  I will even email you additional pictures on how to set it up just as soon as payment is received.  The price for the pattern is very reasonable.  I am a seamstress and I pay that for a pattern to make anything!!

I personally designed and built this display tree over 15 years ago to show off my dozens of Dept. 56 houses and accessories.  I have decided to share my creation with others who probably have the same problem I do - HOW DO I DISPLAY ALL THIS?  I have had as many as 52 houses on it with no problem.  I could easily add a few houses on my lower shelves.   

The tree stands about 6 feet tall (without a house on it) and it is only 48" wide at its base.  ALL SHELVES ARE SECURELY ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER.  You could even modify the measurements and make it a skinnier tree if you want.  So much fits on it and it takes up so little space in a room because it's vertical.  The instructions come with a list of what building materials and tools you will need, a pattern page, illustrations, tips on successful constructions and display of your village - AND LOTS OF PICTURES.  For what you have spent collecting your village, this will be the most worthwhile money ever spent to display it!!  Depending on wood costs in your area, this can be made for under $100, the cost of one special house!! 

TO SHOW YOU HOW PRACTICAL THIS IS, ALL HOUSES ARE LIGHTED AND YOU CAN'T SEE THE CORDS!!  THERE ARE EVEN STREET LIGHTS.  I PURCHASED A DIGITAL TIMER AND IT TURNS ITSELF ON AND OFF!!  I almost forgot the most important part - IT CAN BE COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED AND STORED FLAT!!  The shelves stack on top of each other and the legs all fit in a small box.  The base could be taken apart also if you want.  I just leave mine as is and put in the attic.

This tree could be set up and used year round.  You could display your Snowbunnies at Easter, your Halloween village in the fall and then your Christmas village or Snowbabies in the wintertime.  Change out the snow blanket for grass and it is as versitile as can be.
