"Our chubbies are sturdy little fellows. They are beautiful handcrafted by our master artisans. It was one of the artisans who affectionately named the smaller nutcrackers 'chubby'. Chubbies come in a wide variety of charmingly unique characters. 'Knilche' -- 'Chubbies' in english -- is actually a typical Berlin-expression. These smaller gentlemen are only 11.5 inches tall, so, consequently they don't need quite as much room on the display sheld. They are in contrast to their larger 'Royal Majesties'. Quite often the Chubby-figurines appear together in tandem with their larger counterparts.
