Acquired at an Estate Sale along with lots of other wonderful items is this cute

"It Is Good to Be King" Animal Figurine Music Box/Figurine. (Retired)

Wouldn't it be "Good to be King." This figurine is based on an original birthday card designed by artist Mary Badenhop. It features a variety of dogs, cats, birds, frogs, otters, etc., all playing king for the day. A darling gift for oneself or that special someone in your life.

In excellent/very good condition. No chips. Music box is not working/overwound, should be able to get fixed. Artist - Mary Badenhop Mary has created over 350 designs featuring more than 90 breeds of dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, birds and farm animals. Her love of travel is seen throughout her work and in the backgrounds that she portrays. Of course nothing pleases Mary more than to know the story behind a pet featured in a photograph she is drawing from. Many of her designs are based on life events and photos sent in by people who have pets rescued or adopted.
