This is the best tape to wrap around electrical cord connections because it is waterproof and will not only help hold connections together but will help to seal them from moisture. This tape can be cut later and removed without leaving any glue or residue on your cords/connections. Great tool for helping to set up your outdoor Christmas decor. Wrap those areas in dishwasher where rubber is coming off. Great to make comfortable tool handle wraps or even golf clubs. Got an old rake or shovel that the handle is dry and cracked - wrap it with silicone tape. Used for holding up new trees and plants in garden.  These rolls are NEW but out of a bulk shipment. Each roll will come with basic instructions.  You should actually study on line how to do various repairs. The most important thing is to stretch the tape about 2X as you wrap and overlay the previous wrap by at least 50%.  Multiple layers are required for a lasting repair. The tape comes rolled up with the original plastic liner that prevents it from all fusing together. To remove cut with knife or razor across wrap and remove leaving no messy glue resedue.
